Metabolic Testing at Timberline

Everyone has a unique metabolism.  Now at Timberline, we can determine your true Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR) with our new KORR MetaCheck device.  RMR is the number of calories your body burns every day at rest.  By knowing your individual RMR, we can determine the amount of calories you should consume each day in order to maintain or lose weight.  The MetaCheck is produced by the maufacturers of the same FDA-approved device used in hospitals and has been independently proven to be equally as precise, measuing your RMR with almost 99% accuracy.

 How Does It Work? 

It takes oxygen to make energy.  The KORR MetaCheck measures the oxygen your body uses to determine how much energy (how many calories) you are burning at rest.  You simply relax and breath into the tube attached to the machine for about ten minutes.  It's that easy!  You will receive further instruction on how to come prepared for the test prior to your appointment.

Price & Scheduling
